Soundless as dots – on a Disc of Snow –

Dickinson sticks with me, and I’ve been wanting to take a photo of this for some time now. On my near-daily train ride downtown, I pass a massive cemetery. It has giant mausoleums all in a line. Lately, they’re covered in snow. Every time I think to look at them, “Safe in their Alabaster Chambers -” comes to mind.

The blizzard provided a perfect opportunity.
